About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Catering Assistant to join our team at Bupa Pottsville Beach, a modern care home in a peaceful NSW holiday village. As a Catering Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing our residents with an empathetic and personal approach to dining.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with basic food preparation and presentation
  • Provide meals and snacks to residents, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Clear dining areas and maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Maintain legislated food hygiene and safety practices
  • Support the broader team as required, including laundry and cleaning duties

Requirements:

  • Cert III Hospitality or equivalent experience highly regarded
  • Aged care experience an advantage, but not essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards, and Outcomes
  • Flexible availability for a variety of shifts throughout the week
