Position Overview:

Athena Health Care Systems is seeking a dedicated Clinical Dietitian to enhance our nutrition services. This role is pivotal in ensuring that our residents receive optimal dietary care tailored to their individual needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan, organize, and oversee the operations of the Dining Services Department, ensuring compliance with all relevant standards and regulations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to develop and implement effective dietary plans.
  • Conduct staff training on dietary practices and ensure adherence to therapeutic diet guidelines.
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitary dining environment.
  • Monitor inventory levels and manage food supply according to established policies.
  • Engage in menu planning that aligns with therapeutic dietary requirements.
  • Ensure quality control in food preparation and delivery.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Dietetics from an accredited institution.
  • Current registration as a dietitian.
  • Preferred experience in a supervisory role within a healthcare setting.
  • Knowledge of dietary cost management and food service operations.

Essential Skills:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and handle sensitive situations with tact.
  • Strong leadership capabilities to guide both professional and non-professional staff.
  • Proficiency in interpreting dietary reports and financial data.
