Position Overview
This is a full-time role requiring 40 hours per week, with a schedule from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the registration process for all new and pre-owned vehicles in accordance with state regulations.
- Prepare and verify tax and title documentation.
- Submit all necessary legal transfer paperwork to the Department of Motor Vehicles.
- Ensure that all funds are collected and process electronic fund transfers.
- Review applications and trade documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Maintain a system for verifying out-of-state titles.
- Compile and manage a comprehensive list of outstanding title work, providing regular updates to management.
- Facilitate the signing over of titles for wholesalers who have completed payment.
- Prepare monthly reports on any outstanding funds related to title work.
- Handle the preparation of P-Units and maintain accurate accounting and inventory records.
- Coordinate the annual renewal of dealer tags in collaboration with the comptroller.
- Stay informed about title regulations and participate in relevant training and seminars.
- Assist in cross-training team members on title clerk responsibilities.
- Supervise the daily activities of the title runner.
- Maintain a professional appearance and organized workspace.
- Process credit card transactions and manage CIT schedules.
- Oversee finance reserves and 'We Owe' documentation.
- Ensure proper rotation of yearly deal files.
- Maintain the postage machine and perform other assigned tasks.
This position is primarily office-based, requiring up to six hours of sitting daily, with occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds and handling of paperwork.
Qualifications
