About the Role:

This position involves working with a multi-disciplined team of engineers and architects on various projects, including industrial, mining, rail, education, government, aviation, and municipal markets. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the electrical engineering aspects of projects, including site planning, power distribution, lighting, signal systems, and detail drawings.

Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with the project team to develop electrical engineering plans and specifications;
  • Design and implement power distribution systems, including 208/120 and 480/277 volt systems;
  • Assist with construction administration, including responding to contractor queries and reviewing shop drawings;
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients and stakeholders to ensure project deliverables meet their requirements.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field;
  • Minimum 4 years of progressive experience in power systems design and implementation;
  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 12-18 months;
  • Strong knowledge of National Electrical Code and relevant local regulations;
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel);
  • Basic understanding of mechanical, civil, structural, and architectural disciplines;
  • Ability to travel up to 10% for team meetings, client consultations, and site inspections;
  • Previous experience in business development, including proposal scoping and fee estimation.

Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, commensurate with experience. Benefits include health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.
