CNC Machine Repair Specialist

Hartwig is seeking a skilled CNC Machine Repair Specialist to join our team. As a Service Engineer, you will be responsible for keeping our customers' CNC machine tools running at peak operating levels.
Main responsibilities include:
- Conducting high-quality, efficient, and timely repair and installation of CNC machines
- Recommending modifications and improvements to machines, equipment, and processes
- Training and instructing customers on service, repair, and proper installation
- Using software and electrical tools to find damaged work parts and identifying permanent solutions to repair computer-controlled machines and accessories
- Ability to complete necessary tasks in our service software and timecard system on a daily basis
- Traveling to customer sites, usually within 3 hours from home, with occasional overnight travel
The ideal candidate will have formal education or training in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of CNC Machines, as well as experience installing and troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
