About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Editor to join our team at Booz Allen Hamilton. As a Technical Editor, you will play a critical role in producing high-quality, all-source intelligence analysis products that support the critical needs of US policymakers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Produce all-source intelligence analysis products, including written assessments and reports, that meet the highest standards of quality and accuracy.
  • Collaborate with analysts and subject matter experts to develop and edit intelligence products, ensuring that they are well-researched, well-written, and free of errors.
  • Apply IC analytic standards and tradecraft standards to ensure that products meet the requirements of the Intelligence Community.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in intelligence analysis and editing, staying up-to-date with the latest trends and developments in the field.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior analysts and editors, helping them to develop their skills and expertise.
Requirements
  • Experience as a writer, editor, or intelligence analyst in an IC organization.
  • Experience in producing all-source intelligence analysis and managing the production of analysis products.
  • Ability to proofread, edit, and correct text for style and accuracy.
  • Ability to apply IC analytic standards and tradecraft standards as defined in the Intelligence Reform and Terrorism Prevention Act, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD) 203 Analytic Standards, and ICD 206 Sourcing Requirements.
  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam.
  • Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of experience with technical editing in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Possession of excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation

Salary at Booz Allen Hamilton is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual's particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $60,400.00 to $137, annualized USD.
