This role focuses on enhancing the financial health and operational efficiency of both center-based and home-based child care services.

Key Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Early Childhood Education, program administration, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of five years of relevant experience, including:
    • Administrative and fiscal management within an early childhood education environment.
    • Proficiency with child care management systems and business automation tools.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a preference for bilingual capabilities in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored technical assistance to program leaders to ensure the long-term financial viability of their operations.
  • Gather and analyze baseline data regarding business systems and performance metrics.
  • Facilitate onboarding for providers utilizing selected child care management software.
  • Monitor provider data to promote effective use of the management system, assess financial metrics, and offer constructive coaching.
  • Ensure compliance with invoicing processes for families and subsidy collections.
  • Evaluate program HR policies and recommend strategies to enhance staff retention and reduce turnover.
  • Assist providers in crafting and executing effective marketing strategies to boost enrollment.
  • Review program documentation to ensure clarity in fee collection and enrollment processes.
  • Collect ongoing data to assess the impact of CCMS usage and key financial metrics.
  • Aid providers in establishing robust financial systems for budgeting and reporting.
  • Deliver services in alignment with best practices in adult learning methodologies.
  • Foster strong relationships with participants while focusing on program activities through a strengths-based approach.
  • Customize consulting approaches to meet the unique learning styles and needs of program leaders.
  • Demonstrate cultural sensitivity and awareness in all interactions.
  • Collaborate with other service providers to enhance training and service delivery.
  • Support the professional development of child care program directors through constructive feedback and reflection.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of all consulting activities.
  • Exercise independent judgment in prioritizing tasks to meet expectations.
  • Share relevant resources and information with colleagues and program participants.
  • Communicate respectfully and positively in all forms of interaction.
