About the Position

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to contribute to the design of equipment, HVAC, piping, and plumbing systems for buildings. The ideal candidate will possess 0-2 years of related MEP experience and a strong desire to grow, collaborate, and innovate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the design of building systems, including equipment, HVAC, piping, and plumbing.
  • Work collaboratively with seasoned MEP engineering professionals to deliver high-quality designs.
  • Design projects will span multiple markets and geographies, providing opportunities for broadening knowledge and deepening skill sets.
  • Develop and maintain accurate and legible design calculations, and assist in establishing project timelines and task assignments.
  • Work well within a team environment, with a positive attitude, multi-tasking, and self-motivation to produce high-quality work.
Requirements
  • BS in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology from an accredited college or university.
  • 0-2 years of related MEP experience (including internship, co-op, or professional experience).
  • Experience with relevant software such as Revit, AutoCAD, and BIM.
  • EIT certification preferred or anticipated.

Additional Information

Many factors are considered when determining compensation at Pond & Company, including scope and level of position, geographic location, candidate skill, knowledge, and experience.

Starting base pay may vary depending on these factors. We anticipate filling this position as a Mechanical Engineer I with a salary range of $57,000 to $85,000.

Additional cash incentives may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits dependent on position offered.
