Responsibilities- Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Operate radiologic equipment, such as X-ray machines and CT scanners, to produce high-quality images.
- Assist radiologists during procedures, helping to put patients at ease and ensuring their safety.
- Maintain accurate records of patient information, including medical history and imaging results.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest imaging technologies and techniques.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A certificate of training in radiologic technology or an associate's degree in radiologic technology.
- Current or previous experience in a hospital setting, including PACS system and digital radiology.
- Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from the Texas Medical Board.
- ARRT certification within 6 months of hire date.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
