Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Radiology Tech PRN to join our team at Methodist Hospital. As a Radiology Tech PRN, you will be responsible for providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using digital equipment and PACS systems.
  • Position patients correctly and prepare them for exams.
  • Operate RIS and Meditech systems to schedule exams, track patients, and capture charges.
  • Follow infection control and universal precautions to ensure patient safety.
  • Accommodate inpatients and urgent exams as needed.
  • Assess image quality and clean image detectors as necessary.
  • Communicate with patients and radiologists to ensure smooth procedures.
Requirements
  • Medical Radiologic Technologist Certification from Texas Medical Board.
  • ARRT certification within 6 months of hire date.
  • Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of employment start date.
  • Registered Radiographer (ARRT) certification within 60 months of employment start date.
