Job Summary:

Responsibilities:
  • Monitor cardiac rhythm and vital signs, interpreting data to identify signs of distress or abnormal patterns.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to the medical plan of care.
  • Collaborate with healthcare providers to evaluate and modify the plan of care as necessary.
  • Educate patients and their families on heart health, treatment plans, and home care instructions.
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient condition, treatment, and progress.
Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree (ADN) or above in nursing.
  • Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse license.
  • 1 year experience in cardiac telemetry or other cardiac care setting preferred.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications.
  • Skilled in EKG rhythm interpretation and cardiac monitoring techniques.
  • Proficient in electronic medical record systems.
