The Role

We are seeking a Senior Front-End Engineer to create impactful user experiences for a leading solution utilized by some of the largest enterprises globally. This role involves collaborating with a team of skilled engineers to develop user-friendly interfaces for our cutting-edge customer experience management platform. Adobe has been recognized as a leader in the Digital Experience Platforms sector, and we are looking for someone to help us maintain this standard.

Your Responsibilities

  • As a key member of our team, you will spearhead the development of innovative, essential projects that require fast, responsive, and scalable user interfaces utilizing JavaScript, React, GraphQL, and Adobe's open-source React Spectrum library.
  • You will ensure the technical excellence of the projects assigned to the team, mentor junior engineers, and support senior team members in achieving architectural and feature objectives.
  • Enhance your leadership skills by promoting an exceptional Developer Experience while building comprehensive CI/CD-focused products.

Qualifications for Success

  • Recognized by peers as an exceptional Front-End/UI Engineer with over 5 years of experience in developing high-performance, sophisticated front-end solutions.
  • Expertise in React with a deep understanding of its fundamental principles.
  • A positive attitude and the ability to manage multiple tasks—conflicting priorities are not a challenge for you, and you are comfortable communicating needs to Product and Design teams.
  • A proven history of building consensus among Product Managers, Designers, and various engineering teams while advocating for quality and efficiency in engineering.
  • Experience leading R&D and prototyping initiatives and engaging in technical discussions.
  • Proactively share your technical vision and design principles with the team as new projects develop.
  • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers, providing guidance and influence within your peer group.
  • Skilled in writing and maintaining tests, knowing when to apply them effectively.
  • Encourage constructive code reviews and reciprocate feedback.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience contributing to open-source projects.
  • Ability to share knowledge with the broader tech community through technical talks, blog posts, or conference papers.
  • Familiarity with GraphQL.
  • Experience with cloud services such as Microsoft Azure or AWS.
  • Proficiency with Node/NPM/Yarn or similar technologies.
