Position Overview:

The Key Carrier Coordinator role serves as a vital support to the store's leadership team. This position primarily involves overseeing daily operations while also stepping into a leadership capacity as needed. Key Carriers are expected to maintain a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends, to meet the store's operational demands.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver outstanding customer service and foster a welcoming environment for all shoppers.
  • Uphold a culture of integrity and transparency while ensuring confidentiality.
  • Act as the Manager on Duty, adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Guide the store team in executing tasks in alignment with operational plans, adjusting priorities as necessary.
  • Address customer service challenges promptly and provide constructive feedback to team members.
  • Utilize discretion to navigate customer service policies effectively.
  • Ensure adequate staffing in service areas to enhance the customer experience.
  • Monitor compliance with operational procedures among Associates.
  • Oversee the execution of opening and closing procedures in accordance with company standards.
  • Communicate effectively with management and team members regarding priorities and progress updates.
  • Encourage and accept feedback and recognition among team members.
  • Collaborate with management to identify training needs for Associates to boost performance.
  • Ensure compliance with all labor laws and company policies.
  • Promote loyalty and credit programs to enhance customer engagement.
  • Support initiatives aimed at reducing shrinkage and promoting safety within the store.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and supervisors.
  • Adaptability to changing circumstances and unexpected challenges.
  • Familiarity with company software, systems, and operational procedures.
  • Understanding of merchandise flow within retail environments.
  • Strong problem-solving capabilities.
  • Proficient in coaching, delegating, and managing multiple tasks.
  • Ability to respond swiftly in high-pressure situations.
  • Excellent multitasking skills.
  • Outstanding communication and organizational abilities with a keen attention to detail.
  • Minimum of 1 year of retail experience, with at least 6 months in a leadership role.
