Job Summary

Rural Health Services Inc is seeking a skilled Behavioral Health Consultant/Perinatal Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, direct care, and therapeutic intervention counseling to OB/GYN patients experiencing social, emotional, or medical difficulties.
  • Develop and implement individual treatment and behavior modification plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and contribute to the improvement of patient-centered care.
  • Collaborate with management staff to ensure smooth operation of behavioral health services.
  • Assist with the preparation of reports and provide technical assistance and health education in the community.

Requirements

  • Master's degree in Counseling or Psychology or a related field of study.
  • Minimum of two years of healthcare experience, preferably in a community health setting.
  • Current CPR (BLS) certification.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish, preferred.
