About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Mental Health Tech to join our team at Aurora Pavilion Behavioral Health Services. As a Mental Health Tech, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting the psychosocial needs of our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct patient care and support the psychosocial needs of patients
  • Perform various non-nursing functions, including data collection and reporting
  • Recognize variances in patient condition and report promptly
  • Follow the plan of care and recommend changes to meet the ongoing needs of the patient
  • Participate in shift report and complete all work assignments under the direct supervision of the licensed nurse
Requirements
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Prefer one (1) year full-time or three (3) years part-time in an acute care setting
  • BLS certification and successful completion of Handle with Care training within 30 days of hire
  • Valid SC driver's license for patient transport, where applicable
