Position Summary

The Armed Security Officer plays a crucial role in maintaining the safety and security of customers, staff, and property. Responsibilities include conducting regular patrols of the premises, monitoring surveillance systems, and addressing any security-related incidents or emergencies that may arise. Additionally, the officer will enforce company policies and procedures while actively working to deter theft and other criminal activities.

Compensation: $30 per hour, based on experience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patrols of the premises to ensure the safety of all individuals present.
  • Monitor surveillance footage and take appropriate action in response to security incidents.
  • Enforce company policies and procedures, particularly those aimed at theft and loss prevention.
  • Assist in the investigation of thefts and other security-related occurrences.
  • Document and report all security incidents and emergencies accurately.
  • Maintain a professional demeanor and provide courteous service at all times.
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Previous experience in security or a related field is preferred.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and walk significant distances.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a dynamic environment.
  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with security systems and equipment.
  • Must possess an ACTIVE security license.
  • Must have an ACTIVE armed security license.
  • Must provide your own firearm.
  • Availability to work flexible hours.
  • Willingness to travel to various locations as needed.
Additional Information
