Key Responsibilities:

In this role, you will be expected to:

  • Promote additional services and pest control solutions to customers through various outreach methods, including cold-calling and warm leads.
  • Identify and pursue new sales opportunities creatively.
  • Conduct thorough inspections to detect infestations or conditions that may lead to pest issues, and prepare proposals to secure sales contracts.
  • Manage sales leads within your designated branch or territory and develop additional sales opportunities.
  • Prepare detailed job specifications and treatment instructions in compliance with applicable laws and company policies.
  • Execute contracts on behalf of the company, adhering to established sales terms and payment options.
  • Oversee collection efforts on overdue accounts from personal sales contracts.
  • Follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and identify further sales prospects.
  • Report any unusual customer inquiries or safety incidents to your supervisor promptly.
  • Maintain a clean and operational company vehicle while adhering to company policies.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

The physical requirements for this position include:

  • Regularly sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Using hands to handle tools and equipment.
  • Lifting and moving items up to 50 pounds.
  • Working outdoors in various weather conditions.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, candidates should possess:

  • A high school diploma or GED.
  • 6-12 months of relevant experience in sales or customer service, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
  • The ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
  • Willingness to obtain state-required training and pest control licensing.
