The Position

We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at our Hanford DOE medical clinic. As a Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care in employee wellness, focusing on providing independent professional nursing evaluation, diagnoses, and therapeutic intervention of working clients regarding work-related and personal health and psychosocial issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality occupational health and safety services efficiently, referring patients to clinic, emergency departments, or personal providers as needed.
  • Accurately triage workplace injuries/illnesses and provide appropriate nursing interventions.
  • Perform basic physical examinations, relay findings to patients and providers.
  • Provide safety/health assessments of the worksite and develop/present abatement plans to management/employees.
  • Provide occupational health surveillance testing, including pulmonary function testing, respirator fit testing, audiometry, vision screening, alcohol/drug screening, venipuncture, and blood specimen collection.
  • Develop and implement health/safety promotion strategies for individuals and groups.

Requirements

  • Current, valid Washington state RN license.
  • 2+ years of nursing experience.
  • Certified Occupational Health Nurse (COHN/COHN-S) Certification desirable, but not required.
  • Current basic cardiac life support (BLS) certification.
  • Current ACLS Certification.
  • Strong computer skills with experience in Microsoft office or equivalent programs.

Compensation

$45.00 per hour.
