Visiting Professor of Engineering

We are seeking a highly qualified Visiting Professor to join our Department of Engineering at James Madison University. The successful candidate will have a doctorate in engineering or a closely related field and demonstrate potential to emerge as an agile and adaptive educator.
ResponsibilitiesThe Visiting Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate engineering courses in the areas of introduction to engineering, statics, mechanics, circuits, and/or engineering management. The position will be ten-month, non-renewable, and non-tenure track.
QualificationsSuccessful candidates will have a strong background in engineering education and a commitment to teaching and scholarship. Preference will be given to candidates who demonstrate potential to emerge as agile and adaptive educators.
