Job Summary

The YMCA of Greater Tulsa is seeking a qualified Play & Learn Staff to join our team. As a key member of our early childhood education program, you will play a vital role in the development of strong character values in youth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct supervision and care to children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
  • Develop and implement engaging activities that promote social, emotional, and cognitive growth.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment, adhering to all YMCA policies and procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with parents and colleagues to ensure a collaborative and supportive team environment.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 6 months of experience working with children aged 6 weeks to 12 years.
  • Current CPR/First Aid/O2 certification (will be provided upon employment).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Bilingual - English/Spanish.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Associate's degree or higher in Early Childhood Education or related field.
Compensation

$10.00-$11.00 per hour.
