Position Summary
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for transporting community residents to various scheduled locations, emphasizing exceptional hospitality and service. This role involves the safe and efficient operation and upkeep of community vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport residents to designated locations as per schedule, including medical appointments, shopping trips, recreational activities, and other errands.
  • Assist residents with mobility devices, ensuring their safety and comfort during transport.
  • Monitor the well-being of residents and communicate any changes to the appropriate supervisor.
  • May provide training for new drivers, including classroom instruction and vehicle orientation.
  • Adhere to safe driving practices and organizational vehicle policies.
  • Oversee the maintenance of community vehicles and keep accurate records as required.
  • Ensure emergency safety kits are stocked and maintained in all vehicles.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly appearance of vehicles, both inside and out.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Valid Colorado MVR in good standing, meeting organizational driving standards.
  • Preferred experience of at least 6 months in professional driving, particularly with senior adults.
  • Ability to navigate effectively using maps.
  • Basic computer proficiency in Word and Outlook.
  • Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities.

Working Conditions
This position involves moderate physical activity, including lifting, pushing, or pulling objects up to 50 pounds occasionally and up to 20 pounds frequently. The role may expose the individual to mechanical hazards while operating company vehicles. The individual will interact frequently with residents, family members, and visitors.
