Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Waste Collection Roll-Off Driver to join our team at Interstate Waste Services. As a Roll-Off Truck Driver, you will be responsible for safely operating a Roll-Off Truck, transporting waste and recyclable materials to disposal, transfer, or recycle facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor safety and service-related issues, reporting any concerns to the Route Supervisor or Dispatch.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of assigned vehicles, noting any issues on the DVIR form.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and Dispatchers, responding to complaints and requests in a courteous and respectful manner.
  • Notify Dispatch or Route Manager of issues, including blocked containers, potential missed pick-ups, or problems on the route.
  • Work closely with Route Supervisors to improve route efficiencies and identify best practices.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year of experience driving and operating a Roll Off Truck.
  • Valid Class A or B CDL with airbrake endorsement and a clean driving record.
  • Working knowledge of DOT, OSHA, and applicable traffic regulations.
  • Ability to speak and read English well enough to converse with the general public and respond to official questions.
