Position Overview:
The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Cake Decoration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our cakes meet the highest standards of quality and presentation. This position is vital for delivering exceptional service by fulfilling production requirements efficiently. Adhering to our exclusive recipes and frosting techniques, the Cake Decoration Specialist prepares our signature frosting and applies it using standardized methods to create visually appealing cakes for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Adheres to NbC's exclusive frosting recipes and application techniques with accuracy while achieving productivity targets.
  • Utilizes various tools, including measuring devices, commercial mixers, and pastry bags, to expertly frost cakes.
  • Prioritizes cake orders based on scheduled requests and ensures timely frosting for walk-in customers.
  • Maintains an adequate supply of samples and frosted cakes in the display case, ensuring proper inventory levels.
  • Follows guidelines for packaging, labeling, and storing frosted cakes, while also managing product rotation and maintaining logs.
  • Monitors frosting supply inventory and communicates with management regarding restocking needs.
  • Assesses both baked and frosted cakes to ensure they meet NbC's quality standards and reports any issues to management.
  • Maintains a clean and organized workstation, prepares frosting supplies for upcoming shifts, and cleans equipment as necessary.
  • Complies with all health and safety regulations and NbC policies, including adherence to dress code and hygiene standards.
