Position Overview:The Nothing Bundt Cakes (NbC) Cake Decoration Specialist plays a crucial role in ensuring that our cakes are crafted to the highest standards for our customers while contributing to exceptional service by fulfilling production requirements. By adhering to a proprietary recipe, the Cake Decoration Specialist employs NbC frosting techniques and food safety protocols to create our signature frosting and expertly frost our delectable cakes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Precisely follows NbC's exclusive frosting recipe and application techniques to meet productivity targets.
- Utilizes measuring tools, commercial mixers, and pastry bags effectively to frost cakes.
- Prioritizes cake orders based on the schedule and frosts cakes for immediate customer requests.
- Ensures a sufficient supply of samples and frosted cakes is available for display and maintains appropriate inventory levels.
- Adheres to proper packaging, labeling, and storage practices for frosted cakes, including product rotation and maintaining logs.
- Monitors frosting supply inventory and alerts management when restocking is necessary.
- Assesses baked and frosted cakes to ensure compliance with NbC quality standards and reports any quality control concerns to management.
- Cleans, sanitizes, and restocks the workstation, preparing frosting supplies for the next shift, and washes equipment when necessary.
- Complies with all health and safety regulations as well as NbC policies, including strict adherence to dress code and personal hygiene.

- Attention to detail in measurements and timing while adhering to a fast-paced production schedule.
- Ability to evaluate products and processes for compliance with standards.
- Disciplined and organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
- No formal education or experience is required; however, prior experience in a bakery or food service environment is advantageous.
Flexibility to work during busy holiday seasons is essential. Morning shifts typically run from 9:00 AM to 3:00/4:00 PM, while afternoon shifts are from 3:00/4:00 PM to 8:30 PM. Weekend availability is required. We are currently seeking candidates with both morning and afternoon availability.
