About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Solar Procurement Specialist to join our team at Dynamic SLR, Inc. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with manufacturers and distributors, securing competitive prices, and managing internal inventory.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supplier Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with manufacturers and distributors nationwide to ensure a reliable supply chain.
  • Cost Optimization: Negotiate and secure the best possible prices for a growing list of products, ensuring cost savings and value for the company.
  • Deal Sourcing: Identify and procure discounted deals and special offers that benefit the company.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee the liquidation of obsolete or slow-moving inventory to maximize returns and reduce holding costs.
  • Brokering Deals: Facilitate and broker deals with external companies to offload excess inventory and establish mutually beneficial partnerships.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends, pricing fluctuations, and potential new suppliers.
  • Contract Negotiation: Prepare and negotiate contracts with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and conditions for the company.
  • Data Analysis: Utilize data analytics to track procurement activities, evaluate supplier performance, and identify areas for improvement.
  • Compliance: Ensure all procurement activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.
  • Reporting: Prepare regular reports on procurement activities, cost savings, and inventory status for management review.
Requirements
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in procurement software and inventory management systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States.
  • Must be able to commute to and from work reliably.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in procurement, supply chain management, or a related role.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Solar Installation Industry.
  • Network of suppliers, manufacturers, and/or distributors preferred.
  • Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management (e.g., CPSM, CSCP) is preferred.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with a commitment to delivering superior customer service.
  • Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced entrepreneurial team environment.
  • Attention to detail and deadline orientation; Ability to navigate competing priorities.
Wage and Benefits
  • $60,000-$100,000 annually.
