About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Breast Imaging Technologist to join our team at Fairview Health Services. As a Breast Imaging Technologist, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to our patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform diagnostic imaging exams using various modalities, including mammography and ultrasound.
  • Position patients correctly and use technical factors according to protocol to achieve high-quality images.
  • Communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals to ensure accurate and timely results.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient care and safety.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and complete computer functions in a timely manner.
Requirements
  • A.R.R.T. (R) certification
  • A.R.R.T. (M) certification within 12 months
  • BLS certification from American Red Cross or American Heart Association
  • 1 year of experience in mammography (preferred)
