Key Responsibilities- Obtain patient histories and perform physical examinations to assess patient needs.
- Order and/or perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures to diagnose and treat patients.
- Formulate a diagnosis and develop a treatment plan to meet patient needs.
- Monitor the effectiveness of therapeutic interventions and make adjustments as needed.
- Assist at surgery and provide post-operative care to patients.
- Offer counseling and education to patients and their families to meet their needs.
- Make appropriate referrals to other healthcare professionals as needed.
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
- Registered as a Physician Assistant in New York State.
- NCCPA certified.
