Job Summary

NOVA Engineering and Environmental, LLC is seeking a highly skilled Senior Inspector/Engineering Technician to join our team in Norcross, GA. As a key member of our Construction Materials Testing group, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and integrity of construction materials and processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Field Testing: Conduct field testing of soil, concrete, asphalt, aggregate, and masonry mortar/grout to ensure compliance with industry standards and project specifications.
  • Documentation: Accurately document field activities, observations, and testing results, and communicate findings to project stakeholders.
  • Equipment Calibration: Calibrate field and laboratory equipment to industry codes and standards.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless project execution.
Requirements
  • Qualifications: Density testing and asphalt pavement testing experience in both field and laboratory settings, preferably in airport construction.
  • Certifications: ACI certification and/or ICC (Soils, Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, etc) is a plus.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 40 to 50 lbs. and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
  • Travel: Willingness to travel out-of-town for short duration assignments within the state of Georgia.
