About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Lead to join our team at Daniel Defense. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and production equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure timely and effective completion of maintenance tasks.
  • Work closely with the Facility & Maintenance manager to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
  • Assist with budgeting and cost control to ensure efficient use of resources.
  • Perform a wide range of maintenance tasks, including electrical, plumbing, machine repair, and hydraulics.
  • Troubleshoot and repair complex equipment, including CNC machines and programmable logic controllers.
  • Install, teardown, and relocate equipment as needed.
  • Maintain forklifts and man lifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.
  • Perform machine shop fabrication and repairs to support production needs.
  • Conduct advanced preventative maintenance using specialized equipment.
  • Work with and train other employees to ensure a high level of safety and quality.
Requirements
  • 8 years of maintenance experience, with a strong background in electrical, plumbing, and machine repair.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment required for maintenance tasks.
  • Knowledge of Lock out Tag-Out procedures and ability to work safely in a manufacturing environment.
  • Ability to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds, and to work in a fast-paced production environment.
