Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Maintenance Helper to join our team at Impact Business Group. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Environmental Health and Safety: Demonstrate commitment to and leadership of environmental health and safety principles, policies, and procedures.
  • Maintenance Support: Work directly with the Maintenance Lead to maintain the overall operation and repair of the facility and production equipment.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform a wide variety of semiskilled maintenance work to maintain structures, electrical systems, heating systems, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, refrigeration, and other equipment.
  • Production Support: Perform semiskilled maintenance work relating primarily to production equipment, including electrical, plumbing, machine repair, hydraulics, pneumatic, and other systems.
  • Equipment Installation and Removal: Assist with the installation, teardown, and relocation of various equipment.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Troubleshoot, operate, and repair equipment as needed.
  • Work Order Management: Maintain work order records, including assigning and closing work orders.
  • Attendance and Overtime: Report to work on time, maintain good work attendance, and work scheduled mandatory overtime hours.
  • Job Rotation and Customer Service: Participate in job rotation, provide superior customer service, and adhere to company standards on high integrity, safety, fair and equitable treatment, and a positive work environment.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the company's efforts to continuously improve in Safety, 6S, Quality, Delivery, and Productivity.
Physical Requirements
  • Lifting and Carrying: Must be able to lift and carry awkward items weighing up to 50 pounds.
  • Standing, Walking, and Bending: Requires intermittent standing, walking, sitting, and bending throughout the workday.
  • Work Environment: Must be able to work in a manufacturing environment, including working in and around machinery, exposure to noise and chemicals, lights/lasers, and other hazards.
  • Personal Protective Equipment: Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protection Equipment as required by your position and/or Company policy.
