Orthopedic Sales Specialist

Elevate Surgical, a proud representative of Arthrex products and surgical techniques, is looking for an Orthopedic Sales Specialist. This role is pivotal in achieving set sales targets and quotas within the designated territory. The specialist will be tasked with establishing, nurturing, and sustaining customer relationships through effective communication and in-person engagements. A deep understanding of our premier product offerings is essential, as you will be advising surgeons in the operating room on the application of our implants and instruments.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a representative of Elevate Surgical / Arthrex Inc in a dynamic environment, engaging with a sophisticated audience of surgeons and healthcare professionals.
  • Take charge of meeting and surpassing sales goals for the assigned territory.
  • Collaborate with the team to devise and execute sales strategies aimed at achieving sales targets.
  • Enhance territory performance by fostering and maintaining robust business relationships with both existing and prospective clients.
  • Identify the needs of new prospects and formulate suitable responses through various communication channels.
  • Maintain regular communication with current and potential customer accounts regarding product updates and changes.
  • Keep an accurate and proprietary customer relationship management (CRM) database, which includes forecasting, lead generation, and account maintenance.
  • Address any issues that may arise at customer accounts.
  • Uphold the confidentiality of Elevate Surgical and patient/account information while adhering to company policies and procedures.
  • Work alongside the Sales Manager to receive training and coaching.
  • Engage in independent study to stay informed about products and procedures.
  • Participate in sales meetings and professional association gatherings outside of regular business hours, as necessary.

Knowledge Requirements:

  • Familiarity with orthopedic procedures and terminology as it pertains to Arthrex.
  • Understanding of Operating Room protocols and procedures.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to assimilate a high level of technical information, anatomy, and indications related to surgical procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree is required unless there is prior experience in medical devices or as a surgical technician.
  • 1-3 years of sales experience with Arthrex or another medical device company.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Aptitude for complex medical information and anatomy as it relates to surgical procedures and equipment.
  • Ability to adapt to fast-paced environments with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Comfortable working in surgical settings.

  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Access to personal transportation.
