About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Technician III to join our team at Jones Lang LaSalle IP, Inc. in Clearwater, FL. As a key member of our Operations Maintenance team, you will be responsible for leading service technicians in the installation and repair of automated packaging and distribution equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures and protocols.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building, ensuring optimal performance and efficiency.
  • Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
  • Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, and other electrical and electronic systems.
  • Create and close out work orders with accurate data, including labor hours, equipment maintenance, and parts used.
  • Maintain a positive working relationship across all Operations facilities, fostering collaboration and open communication.
  • Develop training plans for service technicians to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Develop work plans for emergency repair of critical assets, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Perform physical demands, including repetitive bending, crouching, kneeling, reaching, twisting, sitting, standing, and walking, as well as lifting parts and tools weighing up to 49 pounds.
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work flexible schedules, shifts, and areas, including weekends, nights, and holidays.
  • 1 year of experience in PC competency, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Preferred qualifications include an associate's or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field, as well as 5+ years of experience working with automated conveyors and controls, electrical and electronic principles, National Electrical Code (NEC), and industrial electronics.
