Froedtert South is looking to recruit Acute Care Registered Nurses to join our dedicated team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide and coordinate comprehensive medical and nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process which includes assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Adhere to established standards and practices while demonstrating proficiency in specific clinical skills.
  • Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure positive patient outcomes within designated timeframes.
  • Administer medications, IVs, and treatments safely and in accordance with established protocols.
  • Facilitate patient education and maintain a safe, organized environment conducive to healing.
  • Respond promptly to patient needs and emergencies, taking appropriate actions as necessary.
  • Participate in quality assurance initiatives and assist in training new staff and nursing students.

Work Schedule:

  • 12-hour shifts totaling 72 hours over a two-week period.
  • Weekend program available with a 15% pay differential for those who prefer weekend shifts.
  • Openings available across various departments with both full-time and part-time positions.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree in Nursing.
  • Current BLS and/or CPR certification from a recognized provider or the ability to obtain certification shortly after hire.
  • Valid licensure to practice as a Registered Nurse or Graduate Nurse in the relevant state.
  • Proficient in English, with the ability to read, write, and comprehend effectively.
  • Possess the physical and cognitive skills necessary to operate patient care equipment.
