As a key member of the healthcare team, you will work closely with supervising physicians to assess and monitor patients' needs, ensuring that treatment and care are conducted according to facility procedures.
Responsibilities:- Conduct thorough assessments of clients' conditions during every visit and track observations.
- Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and heart rate.
- Administer medications as prescribed by clients' physicians.
- Dress or redress open wounds and assess progress of healing.
- Provide education to clients, their families, and other caretakers on proper home health care strategies and procedures.
- Offer palliative care as needed to maintain clients' comfort.
- Recommend devices or tools to improve clients' quality of life.
- Listen to clients' concerns and respond accordingly.
- Bachelor's degree in nursing.
- Current nursing license in the state.
- Current CPR (American Heart Association) Certification.
- Access to reliable transportation.
- Ability to work independently and with directions.
- Compassionate and friendly demeanor.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook, and Word to document and track client care activity.
