The State of Florida is seeking a highly skilled Investigation Specialist II to join our team in the Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco, Bureau of Law Enforcement. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for investigating violations of chapters 210, 561-565, and 567-569, Florida Statutes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough investigations of alleged violations, gathering evidence and interviewing witnesses as needed.
- Analyze data and information to identify patterns and trends, and develop strategies to prevent future violations.
- Collaborate with other law enforcement agencies and stakeholders to share intelligence and best practices.
- Prepare and present findings and recommendations to management and other stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with changes in laws and regulations, and provide training and guidance to colleagues as needed.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in law enforcement or a related field.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
