Job Title: Bar Assistant

Join the Coast Guard Exchange team as a Bar Assistant and contribute to the success of our hospitality operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a seamless experience for our patrons.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Set up bars with supplies and equipment, ensuring a well-stocked and organized environment.
  • Prepare simple garnishes, slice and peel fruit, and use knives and automatic slicers to prepare ingredients.
  • Fills ice bins with ice and maintains a clean and sanitary bar area.
  • Serve beverages, operate a cash register, and handle customer transactions.
  • Unload and stack supplies for storage, and replenish inventory as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety regulations and standards.
Requirements:
  • Ability to follow simple oral instructions and use knives and automatic slicers.
  • Physical ability to frequently lift objects weighing 5-10 pounds, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Meet the minimum age requirement for serving alcoholic beverages.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a bar assistant or in a similar role.
