Bar Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Bar Assistant to join our team at the Coast Guard Community Services Command. As a Bar Assistant, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive experience for our patrons.
Key Responsibilities- Set up and maintain a clean and organized bar area, including restocking supplies and equipment.
- Prepare and serve beverages, including pouring drinks and operating a cash register.
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment, adhering to all safety and sanitation procedures.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Must be able to follow simple oral instructions and use knives and automatic slicers to prepare garnishes.
- Must be able to stoop, stand, and walk for long periods of time.
- Must be physically able to frequently lift objects weighing 5 to 10 pounds, pull and push objects weighing 10 to 20 pounds, and occasionally lift up to and over 40 pounds.
- Must meet the appropriate minimum age requirement for working with and/or serving alcoholic beverages.
- Six months previous bar assistant experience.
