Position Overview

$5K Sign-on Bonus Available

Medi Home Hospice, a dedicated member of the Medical Services of America, Inc. Family, is currently in search of a qualified, Full-Time Hospice Aide/CNA to provide compassionate care for our patients.

This role involves delivering essential support services under the guidance of professional staff, aimed at enhancing the physical and emotional well-being of patients and their families. Key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering personal care and assistance with daily living activities according to the care plan.
  • Utilizing safety protocols and proper body mechanics while performing tasks such as patient ambulation, transfers, and assisting with mobility exercises.
  • Ensuring adequate nutrition and hydration, including the provision of medically prescribed diets under supervision.
  • Monitoring and reporting any changes in patient conditions to a skilled nurse promptly, while documenting all communications in the Electronic Medical Record (EMR).

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is mandatory.
  • Completion of a state-recognized Certified Nursing Assistant training program is required.
  • Possession of a valid Certified Nursing Assistant certification as mandated by state regulations.
  • A valid driver's license and auto-liability insurance as per company requirements.
