Key Responsibilities- Program Development: Develop and implement a comprehensive activity program that promotes the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.
- Activity Coordination: Coordinate and lead various activities, including individual and group programs, to engage residents and promote socialization.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and timely documentation of resident activity participation and progress.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including nursing, social services, and dietary, to ensure a cohesive and resident-centered approach to care.
- Volunteer Management: Recruit, orient, and supervise volunteers to support the activity program.
- Quality Assurance: Participate in quality assurance meetings and complete monthly reports to ensure the activity program meets regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation or equivalent training/experience.
- Licensure: Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) certification.
- Experience: Two years of experience in a social or recreational program.
