We are in search of experienced Mixologists who aspire to advance their careers in the hospitality sector and possess a genuine enthusiasm for food and drink. Key Qualifications:

  • Must be at least 21 years old to serve alcoholic beverages.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience as a bartender in a high-volume restaurant with a focus on craft and classic cocktails.
  • High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
  • Current California Food Handler's Card.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Basic mathematical skills for order processing.
  • Thorough understanding of bartender service protocols and company standards.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Complete assigned opening tasks efficiently.
  • Take and process guests' food and beverage orders, utilizing effective selling techniques.
  • Input orders accurately into the point-of-sale system and communicate with the kitchen as needed.
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic beverages to guests and staff.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area and service stations.
  • Open wine and champagne bottles for guests and serve wine by the glass.
  • Prepare all types of coffee according to restaurant standards.
  • Serve food courses and non-alcoholic beverages to guests.
  • Engage with guests, anticipating their needs and responding promptly.
  • Interact courteously and professionally with guests, management, and colleagues.
  • Ensure bar area is clean and well-maintained throughout service.
  • Wash and stock bar glassware during shifts.
  • Present checks and process payments in accordance with cash handling policies.
  • Clean and sanitize the bar area after each guest's departure.
  • Report and collect tips at the end of each shift.
  • Complete assigned closing duties and reports before leaving.
