Poolside Mixologist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and creative Poolside Bartender to join our team at LR Palm House LLC. As a Poolside Bartender, you will be responsible for crafting exceptional cocktails and providing a memorable bar experience for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Drink Preparation: Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, ensuring consistency and presentation meet our high standards.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with guests in a friendly, professional manner, offering recommendations and sharing knowledge about the drink menu.
• Food and Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages promptly and courteously, checking back with guests to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns or additional requests.
• Menu Knowledge: Maintain thorough knowledge of the menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and beverage pairings, to answer guest questions and make recommendations.
• Bar Presentation: Set and clear bar top efficiently, ensuring cleanliness and readiness for the next guests.
• Check Handling: Present guest checks, process payments, and handle transactions accurately and responsibly.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen and service staff to ensure smooth/coordinated service and assist with other tasks as needed to maintain a well-functioning dining environment.
• Bar Maintenance: Ensure the bar area is clean, organized, and well-stocked, maintaining high levels of hygiene and safety.
• Inventory Management: Track and manage bar inventory, including ordering supplies, restocking ingredients, and controlling waste.
• Training and Development: Assist in training junior staff on cocktail preparation, bartending techniques, and bar etiquette.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including serving alcohol responsibly and checking IDs as needed.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a Mixologist or Bartender in a high-end or fast-paced environment.
• Excellent knowledge of spirits, wines, beers, and cocktail-making techniques.
• Creativity and passion for crafting innovative beverages.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle high-pressure situations with grace.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Knowledge of health and safety standards for food and beverages.
• Certification in responsible alcohol service.
