Technology Project Coordinator

The Technology Project Coordinator will oversee the planning, execution, and management of a specific information technology (IT) initiative, acting as a bridge between business needs and technical solutions within an agile framework. This role is essential in supporting our government contracts throughout the software development life cycle, ensuring effective collaboration among Analysts, Developers, and other technical personnel.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with leadership and stakeholders to evaluate data gathered during the project lifecycle, identifying areas for enhancement and optimization.
  • Define the project scope, objectives, and overall product vision.
  • Create comprehensive work plans, timelines, and progress reports.
  • Manage all facets of the development and execution of assigned projects.
  • Guide projects from initial concept through to successful implementation.
  • Establish and monitor project milestones; address unforeseen delays and adjust schedules and expectations accordingly.
  • Engage with all parties impacted by the project, including end users, technical teams, and stakeholders.
  • Facilitate product meetings and oversee project tracking and analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with quality standards throughout the project.
  • Provide technical and analytical support to the project team.
  • Recommend and implement solutions to address project challenges.
  • Delegate tasks and responsibilities while supervising the workflow of project staff.
  • Utilize agile methodologies in performing responsibilities.
  • Execute additional related duties as required.
Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of demonstrated project management experience, ideally within the IT federal contracting sector.
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is highly regarded.
  • SAFe Agile or Scrum Master certification is a plus.
  • Experience supporting federal agencies such as DHS or FEMA is advantageous.
  • Hands-on experience with agile methodologies is essential.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and strategic planning.
  • Familiarity with IT procedures and best practices.
  • Ability to quickly adapt to various general and specialized applications, software, and hardware utilized in the industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
  • Capable of motivating teams to achieve project goals within set timelines.
  • Customer service-oriented with a strong focus on stakeholder satisfaction.
  • Exceptional analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
Clearance Requirements:

DHS public trust or DOD top secret clearance is necessary.

This is a Full-Time Exempt position.
