Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Aerospace Quality Inspector to join our team at Trelleborg Group. As a key member of our quality assurance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality standards in our products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect products using gauges, coordinate measuring machines, scales, and vision data prior to shipment
  • Test materials to ensure they meet our quality standards
  • Abide by customer's incoming inspection requirements
  • Respond to supplier quality levels that are suspect and inspect incoming products to ensure quality levels
  • Inspect receipts when defects are found until corrections can be verified
  • Some materials may be inspected as a marketing tool to demonstrate our high focus on quality
  • Maintain proper documentation where necessary

Requirements:

  • High school diploma
  • 1 year of experience in a warehousing environment
  • Actively pursuing or holding a bachelor's degree or associate's degree preferred
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in quality inspection or a similar function preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products, including Microsoft Excel, preferred

Competencies:

  • Clear oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and standards
  • Basic computer skills
  • Basic reading skills
  • Basic arithmetic skills
  • Time management skills, including meeting deadlines for OTD
  • Ability to work successfully independently
