Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead Sautee Cook to lead our culinary team at South Lyon Hotel. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking techniques, as well as strong leadership qualities to oversee day-to-day culinary operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the preparation and presentation of menu items, ensuring high-quality dishes are served to our guests.
  • Coordinate food and kitchenware orders to maintain efficient inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular quality checks on ingredients and kitchen equipment to ensure compliance with health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with management to develop new menu items and improve existing recipes.
  • Standardize recipes and plate presentations to maintain consistency across the menu.
  • Work closely with the management team to create a memorable dining experience for our guests.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in culinary arts, cooking, or related fields.
  • Knowledge of cost and labor systems to optimize kitchen operations.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills to motivate and guide the culinary team.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing menu demands.
