Job Title: Executive Chef

We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to join our team at The Current South Shore. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for the preparation and serving of meals, ensuring the highest quality and presentation.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the dietary needs of our residents
  • Oversee the sanitation and maintenance of food service areas, ensuring compliance with all food safety regulations
  • Manage inventory and ordering of products, ensuring accurate record keeping and cost control
  • Collaborate with the Culinary Services Director to ensure seamless operations and high-quality service
  • Lead and train a team of culinary staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment
Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar role, with a proven track record of success
  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a culinary degree or certification preferred
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
