Program Details:

The Crisis Residential Treatment programs offer short-term services for adults experiencing acute psychiatric distress. Our aim is to help clients stabilize in a supportive environment, avoiding hospitalization and emergency interventions while working towards long-term recovery goals.

Work Schedule:

Full-Time; Days: 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM; Monday - Friday (Temporary Position)

Compensation:

The expected starting wage range is competitive and varies based on geographic location and relevant experience.

Role Summary:

In this entry-level management role, the Peer Recovery Team Lead will oversee multidisciplinary teams, coordinate service needs, and collaborate with various agencies. Responsibilities include conducting assessments and determining the appropriate level of services for new clients.

Qualifications:

Required:

  • Certified Peer Specialist and/or completion of Peer Support Training
  • Three years of experience supporting individuals with behavioral health challenges
  • Experience as a beneficiary of the public Behavioral Health system
  • Successful completion of Peer Support Training or Peer Employment Training
  • Ability to meet state registration requirements for Agency Affiliated Counselor
  • Sensitivity to multicultural populations
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • Current CPR, Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI), and First Aid certification
  • Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance

Preferred:

  • Completion of leadership courses
  • Bilingual capabilities
  • Bicultural background or experience
  • Increased responsibilities within a peer role

  • Exemplify Telecare's mission and values in all interactions
  • Engage and inspire clients to explore and achieve their recovery goals
  • Utilize de-escalation skills in critical situations
  • Organize team meetings to coordinate tasks and workflows
  • Ensure compliance with peer service deliverables
  • Maintain accurate records and safeguard client confidentiality
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Provide on-site recovery coaching and skill development
  • Monitor staff attendance and performance
  • Conduct community outreach to clients served

Physical Demands:

This role requires the ability to perform various physical tasks, including standing, walking, lifting, and manual dexterity.
