Operations Coordinator

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Operations Specialist to join our team at Ohm Systems. The ideal candidate will have experience in accounting, payroll, or administrative support, with strong organizational and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain databases and compile, track, and clean up data related to water plant operations, capital programs, and regulatory compliance.
- Analyze and evaluate reports, variances, and department work processes (e.g., business systems, regulatory requirements, budgets).
- Handle payroll and accounting tasks, including processing payroll, balancing accounts, and resolving discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels, perform inventory control tasks, and coordinate with vendors.
- Provide administrative support, including document preparation, meeting minutes, and handling travel arrangements.
- Act as a resource for departmental issues, troubleshooting customer service, billing, and regulatory concerns.
Requirements:
- High school diploma; associate degree in business, finance, accounting, or engineering preferred.
- 5+ years of work experience, with 3+ years in accounting, payroll, or administrative support.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint) and email management systems (Lotus Notes/MS Outlook).
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of payroll systems (e.g., JD Edwards) and water or utility industry is preferred.
- Experience with AutoCAD and Orcom is a plus.
