Key ResponsibilitiesProgram Insight
The Residential Treatment programs at Youth Villages cater to children facing emotional and behavioral challenges. Our residential facilities create an environment conducive to intensive treatment, blending structure with freedom. This approach empowers children and their families to recognize, comprehend, and address their unique needs while cultivating the skills essential for success in less restrictive environments. We operate three distinct facility types—Intensive Residential Centers, Open Campuses, and Group Homes—all located in Tennessee and Georgia, utilizing the Re-Education of Emotionally Disturbed Children therapy model (Re-Ed).
Role Responsibilities
- Act as a bridge between Residential staff and Counselors
- Engage directly with youth daily, providing individual, group, and family therapy
- Manage admissions and discharges for youth within our Residential facilities
- Lead treatment meetings and consultations
- Collaborate with the assistant director of clinical services
- Exhibit flexibility, organization, patience, and a commitment to the treatment of the youth we serve.
Compensation: $52,000 annually
QualificationsEssential Requirements
A Master's Degree in a relevant social services field is mandatory. The Master's program must facilitate the pursuit of clinical licensure. Candidates must be willing to seek licensure with provided supervision. Prior counseling experience is essential, and experience with at-risk youth is preferred.
