Position Overview:

The Financial Operations Specialist plays a crucial role in generating precise invoices for AEG Fuels' clientele and managing associated vendor payments. The ideal candidate will exhibit strong attention to detail, organizational prowess, problem-solving capabilities, and effective communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Adhere to established protocols for generating customer invoices.
  • Review and process vendor payments in accordance with company procedures.
  • Examine incoming vendor invoices for accuracy and rectify discrepancies.
  • Engage confidently with various departments to resolve issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate closely with the Regional Financial Operations Manager and Financial Operations Distribution Manager to ensure timely processing of assigned tasks.
  • Communicate any challenges that may hinder successful processing.
  • Monitor the status of incoming documents in the system throughout the day, following priority processing guidelines.
  • Coordinate with the Accounting Team to address any discrepancies during the closing process.
  • Assist the Customer Service Team with credit and rebill requests for customer invoices.
  • Support team members as required.
