The Oncology Medical Content Specialist will play a pivotal role in supporting the Oncology Medical Communications division, focusing on the formulation and enhancement of scientific and medical materials intended for both Global and US Medical Affairs, as well as Field Medical training and outreach.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Creation and ongoing refinement of high-quality medical resources tailored for specific therapeutic areas and products, including MSL presentation decks, advisory board documentation, internal training materials, and other scientific exchange tools.
  • Ensure that all scientific content produced is pertinent, precise, and consistent with the overarching Medical Communications strategy.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to guarantee coherence in deliverables.
  • Conduct comprehensive literature reviews and remain informed on the latest research to integrate new findings into existing materials.
  • Engage in medical conferences and advisory boards to collect insights and aid in the development of scientific resources.
  • Adhere to established review and approval protocols in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Manage workflow tasks and oversee multiple projects effectively.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Advanced degree in a medical or scientific discipline is required (PharmD, PhD, MD, or MS, etc.).
  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in medical writing or content development is essential.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a medical affairs capacity within the pharmaceutical sector is preferred.
  • A solid understanding of the oncology therapeutic area is necessary.
  • Proven project management capabilities with a strong ability to prioritize tasks and consistently meet deadlines.
  • Experience in the development and updating of MSL resources, advisory board materials, and training presentations is advantageous.

Key Skills and Competencies:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret scientific literature, incorporating data into both existing and new medical resources.
  • Familiarity with Veeva Vault is preferred.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Capability to interpret feedback from key stakeholders and apply it to deliverables.
  • A strong desire to innovate and thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.

This position requires a hybrid work arrangement.
